A pouting Casey in seemingly happier times,
before her child's corpse was found in a
wooded, swampy area blocks away from
her parents' home.
The public could learn very soon whether the controversial video deposition of Casey Anthony will be released, reports firstcoastnews.com.

A hearing was held prior to this weekend in which lawyers argued over whether the tape should be released.

"If the judge rules for release, it's likely it will be given out right away," the article notes.

Anthony gave the videotaped deposition for a civil lawsuit brought on by Zenaida Gonzalez; she is claiming that her reputation was ruined when anthony used her name as "the nanny" who supposedly abducted Casey's now-deceased two-year-old daughter Caylee. Gonzalez says she couldn't obtain employment and has received death threats as a result of her name being associated with this tragic situation.

Anthony was cquitted in the murder of Caylee, to the chagrin of most of the U.S. public, who in polls have considered Anthony one of the most hated people of our time.
