Info Post

I have been reading a lot of crime fiction from writers located in Northern Europe, thanks to Sweden's sadly-deceased Stieg Larsson and his "Girl" series. Right now, I have been working my way through Jo Nesbo, who so happens to be a Norwegian writer. I heartily recommend his work (see Amazon recommendation, The Redbreast).

I flipped out when I heard about the recent terror attacks over there -- it sounded like Jo's fiction had come to life. "Norwegian police are verifying if twin attack suspect Anders Behring Breivik was the author of a manifesto and a video which appeared on the web, the Norwegian media said," writes RIA Novosti in Norwegian mass killer posts manifesto, video before attacks.

"The 32-year old ethnic Norwegian confessed to killing over 80 people on the Utoya Island on Saturday evening. Breivik is also believed to have been one of those linked to the Oslo bombing, which left seven people dead," writes RIA Novosti.
