Casey findings something to laugh about;
father George, clearly, suffers.
Casey Anthony is ordered to pay more than a Florida judge had originally sought from her for being found guilty on multiple accounts of lying to the police, sending them on a wild-goose chase searching for her missing 2-year-old daughter--whom Anthony knew was dead, according to her attorney's opening statement at her death-penalty trial--three years ago.

Anthony was acquitted in July on charges of murdering her daughter, Caylee, but was convicted of four misdemeanor counts of lying to authorities.

Judge Belvin Perry added an additional $119,000 to the bill she owes four law enforcement agencies in central Florida, bringing the total to more than $217,000. That's still short of the $500,000 prosecutors were seeking.

According to PerezHilton.com, "after the judge asked the police department to resubmit documents, he discovered Casey owed a lot more than originally calculated for the costs of the Caylee search.

That, he notes, brings the bill to $145.662.21 to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office; $61,505.12 to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement; $10,283.90 to the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation; and $50 to the State Attorney’s Office. That is how and why the new total of $217,499.23 was declared.

"That's a heart attack on paper right there!" Perez writes.

"But we have to say, we don't feel sorry for Casey Anthony. Her lies did cost the investigation hundreds of thousands of dollars plus valuable time and stress of everyone involved!"
