UPDATE: THIS SHOW IS NUTTY; I DON'T TAKE IT SERIOUSLY, AS JESSIE'S EGO SEEMS TO BE THE DRIVING FORCE; THIS POST, THOUGH TRUE (THE DIGITAL RECORDING WAS INDEED DEFECTIVE FOR SOME REASON) WAS WRITTEN TONGUE-IN-CHEEK
I was watching—or trying to watch—the new television show “Conspiracy Theory With Jesse Ventura.” I would have viewed it with the proverbial grain of salt—had I been able to watch it. But while viewing the show courtesy of Verizon Fios’s DVR, I glimpsed a phenomenon I had never experienced before—the program kept scrambling and freezing up, and the audio kept dropping out. This has never happened to me while viewing a television program recorded via my trusty DVR. The story Jesse was following regarded HAARP: High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program. Basically, it is an American military system set up in Alaska that some believe is a “Doomsday Machine,” which can control the weather, channeling it into a weapon of major destruction. It is believed it was used to create anxiety in the Iraqi army in the first Gulf War (among other things). All I know is, the DVR of that program was unwatchable. I simply could not get the show to play, pressing fast forward, rewind, stop, play, manipulating the remote to try to get it going. I gave up after a half hour.
I don’t know what other conspiracies Jesse was looking into during the program. I will try to record the show again the next time it is on. But for now I am wondering if the scrambling of the show was coincidence…..or conspiracy, as in a conspiracy to stop us from watching it. The weather did take a turn for the worse while the show was on, strong winds and rain. Did anyone else out there who watched the show—or tried to watch the show—experience any problems like I did? It was on 10pm Wednesday night (December 2) on channel 183, truTV.
Conspiracy Fact?
